Dear Miss Cequeña,

            

First of all I would like to thank you for being patient with us especially with our behavior. Thank you for guiding us in our lessons and helping us revise our essays to make it more fruitful and as your student I have learned a lot from you. I can apply it in and out of the classroom. Thank you for all the things that you have taught us. Thanks for making us that we are taken care of, and we treat you as our second mom in school.

            

           My essays are my pieces of evidence that I have achieved something in Englcom Reading and Writing class. My learning is another, because without Englcom Reading and Writing Class I wouldn’t be able to correct my mistakes when I am writing essays and articles. I learned how to be an effective communicator through my essays because I am able to apply proper grammar rules. I find it difficult sometimes to be a critical and creative thinker, because our tasks is only allowed to be done inside the classroom and we have limited time to think what we are going to write in are essays and articles. I am planning to have new ways on how to cope up with these problems. I am planning to adjust quickly to the system so that my work will be more effective. I want to study what our professor taught us and practice them at home even though we are not told to do so.

            

The things that I am most proud of is the one that miss Cequeña taught us, she taught us how to site credible sources and how to manage our time so that we can do the desired task on time and with great quality. I am most proud of the life lessons that our professor taught us because we can apply them every day. We really need these life lessons until we grow old and it is very important in the future and we need to practice them every day and be serious with it. I am very proud to be a student of Miss Cequeña because she is a teacher that cares about her students and treat her as her children and guide them in the right path so that they will have a good future ahead of them. I am very proud that I am independent now when I write essays and artivles and I can find credible sources that is very reliable.

           

       I learned lots of things in this course and I am very thankful for having this course in my flowchart because I believe that this subject is very important because it is very useful when we write letters to express ourselves and we will write our resume for our jobs in the future. I am very thankful for having Miss Cequeña as our professor because she is very patient with us even though we are noisy at times and we take for granted the subject she is there to guide us always and mentor us in everything that we do. I believe that is the most important thing to do if you are a professor. Thanks Miss! J

To Play or Not To Play (Argumentative Essay)

Computer games are an amusement for people of any age that can become the object of obsession. Video games are widespread in almost all nations around the world. (Gamer Statistics. 2011) The fact is that there are many people who love to play these games because the directions are simple and the graphics are beautiful that it attracts the gamers more on the game. Among elementary and middle-school populations, girls play for an average of about 5.5 hours per week and boys average 13 hours per week. (The Effects of Video Games on Children. 2004) The gamers should consider that there are pros and cons in getting addicted to video games. 

There are some reasons why people are getting addicted to video games, because of the interactive graphics that is used by the game masters, the instructions of the game are easy to follow and most of all you get to socialize with other people when you play video games. The pros of playing video games are that you can enhance your confidence when you socialize with other people. Playing video games can increase your socialization skills because you get to interact with the people that you play with. (Pros and Cons. 2011) It can also teach us lessons that we can apply to our everyday life because when we made a mistake while playing with our friends, then we can learn from it and try not to avoid it again. Video games helps the people socialize with one another because it is known for an amusement for people of any age. Most people play games for socialization and for bonding. (Socialization with Video Games. 2009)

The gamers should consider that there are negative effects when you get addicted to playing video games. It could make you lose your concentration with the things that you need to do like eating on time, going to school every day, studying your lessons and being careful with your actions. Getting addicted to video games that are violently played can cause the gamer to be harsh with his/her actions and hurt other people. Playing video games often can cause interference with school, work, or relationship and often avoids other commitments in order to keep playing. (Computer Game Addiction. 2010) With all these reason we all need to know are limits while playing these video games, because it can cause the gamer negative effects. 

There are positive and negative effects that can occur when the gamer gets addicted in playing video games. (Effects of Video Games. 2009) Addict gamers should lessen the amount of time of playing video games because it can destroy their relationship and it can make them lose their concentration in school and work. If we want to play and enjoy video games, we should be mature enough and prioritize our needs and be aware of the time that you are allotting for video games.

What Do You Call A Food That Is Fast? (Extended Definition)

Fast foods are convenience foods that can be prepared and served very quickly. Fast food has pros and cons on a person's health. Eating fast food on a regular basis can lead us to different health problems like cancer. People can make choices whether to eat on a fast food chains or eat on a fine dining restaurant. Eating in fast food chains regularly can cause negative effects to the people's health, while eating in a fine dining restaurant can give the customer positive effects.

The people should know that the food that they eat in fast food chains are healthy. Even though we are craving for fast food because of all the advertisements that we see, we should know what food to eat and choose it wisely. Here are some tips for making healthy choices in fast food chains. Make careful menu selections, pay attention to the descriptions on the menu, drink water with your meal, undress your food and lastly special order. If you want to avoid food with high calories you need to choose your viand wisely. Some tips on what to avoid at fast food chains are super sized portions, salt, bacon and buffets. 

Eating in a fast food chain can cause you positive and negative effects. Here are some positive end effects of eating in fast food chains. First, fast food chains offer fast service. Second is that their food is cheap and is at a affordable price, it is also convenient, filling and tastes good to many. Lastly fast food meal is packed with enough calories, sodium and fat for an entire day or more. (Healthy Fast Food. 2011)

The negative end effects of eating in fast food chains are the following. First is getting addicted to fast food can cause cancer to people who often eat them almost everyday, because of the preservatives added to the food that they serve. Another is that it can haunt you at the future and cause death. Lastly is that when you are sick because of getting addicted to fast food, you won't enjoy life and you can't live it to the fullest. (Negative Effects of Eating Fast Food. 2006) It is not healthy for your health.

Fast food is the cheapest option in the market, it is convenient, and to many of us it tastes good, but it has positive and negative end effects on a persons health. Therefore fast food is healthy for our health when you eat it once in a while.

Pizza Hut vs Yellowcab

Pizza is one of the best foods that I want to eat. The two best Pizza Restaurants for me are Pizza Hut and Yellowcab. These two pizza companies both serve world - class pizza, pasta and even chicken. They are both high - class restaurants but I believe that both restaurants differ on their taste and the variety of food that they serve. 

I will compare the two companies and here are the differences between the two companies. Yellowcab's pizza is oilier than the pizza of Pizza Hut. Pizza Hut offers varieties of food especially in the kind of pizza that they serve. Pizza Hut has a pizza with cheese or a sausage on their crust. But Yellowcab doesn't offer that kind of pizza. Yellowcab is a local pizza company while Pizza Hut is an international Pizza company. Pizza Hut offers an on time delivery, when it's late, it's free service while Yellowcab does not. On the other hand, Yellowcab offers bigger pizza than Pizza Hut's.

But for me, Pizza Hut is better than Yellowcab because of some reasons. One reason is that Pizza Hut is cheaper than Yellowcab and much healthier because Yellowcab's pizza is oilier than Pizza Hut's. You can try both pizza company and tell which one is better. But one thing is sure they both satisfy our need and they both taste great.

There are many reasons why people go back to Pongkizz. As a regular customer, I know that the staff are very approachable, their food is very delicious and the price is very affordable to the public. The location is within the vicinity of De La Salle University. Therefore it is very accessible for the students and the teachers as well. Outsiders can go to Pongkizz also because you don't need any Identification Card to go to Pongkizz. One reason why people appreciate Pongkizz because they have variety of viands that people may choose from. I am pretty sure that all of these viands tastes good and is mouth watering. The food served is hot and very fresh for the customer to eat. You can also ask the staff to serve more if you want to add food on your viand. They also serve the food fast and serve it with smile. All the staffs in Pongkizz is easy to talk with and also fun to talk with. One reason to a customer's heart is have a staff that is very approachable, fun to talk with and is very considerate to all the customers. With all these reasons a lot of customer prioritize Pongkizz food house. So what are you waiting for? Try Pongkizz food house located in Agno Street in De La Salle University.

What makes Pongkizz a special food house? Pongkizz a well-known food store in La Salle because of its food quality, friendly staffs, accessible to Lasallians and most of all the food is at affordable prices. It is very accessible to all Lasallians because it is within the vicinity of De La Salle Campus. It is located in the well-known street in De La Salle campus “Agno” street. It is also open for everyone because you don't need an identification card to enter the cafeteria in Agno Street. The food in Pongkizz offers a variety of dishes at affordable prices. The food price is only fifty five pesos for one viand and rice plus a freebie which is pasta. The price for two viands is seventy five pesos and it comes with rice, two viands and the freebie which is pasta. The freebie is an optional order, it is for the customer to decide whether to get the freebie or decline it. The best seller of Pongkizz is their pork sisig and chicken breast. The staffs in Pongkizz are very friendly and approachable and this is one reason why Pongkizz is one of the best food stores in La Salle. The environment before is full of smoke because Agno street is the smoking place of Lasallians but now the environment is improving because the school is now implementing its rules.

I stated the reasons why Pongkizz is one of the best food stores in De La Salle University. These are because of its friendly and approachable staffs, accessible location, good tasting food; it offers variety of dishes and most of all it is at affordable prices. People should try Pongkizz so that they can experience heaven and come back every time they are in Taft. Because with Pongkizz food it can make you go “Ohh La La” and it’s like you are in heaven all the time and you can save money without even noticing it.
